Parece increíble, pero tras el anuncio del estreno de 'La Saga Crepúsculo: Amanecer - Parte 2' el 16 de noviembre de 2012, estudios tan importantes como Disney Pixar y DreamWorks Animation han optado por cambiar las fechas de estreno de sus películas de animación que iban a ser estrenadas el mismo mes. Sin ir más lejos, Disney Pixar han anunciado que la secuela 'Monsters Inc 2' se moverá del 16 de noviembre de 2012 al 2 de noviembre, provocando al tiempo que la película de DreamWorks Animation, 'The Guardians', mueva su fecha del 2 de noviembre al 21 de noviembre de 2012.
Disney también anunció que la versión en 3D de 'La Bella y la Bestia' retrasará su fecha de estreno para después de que llegue 'Newt', de Disney Pixar. Durante un tiempo se rumoreó que esta cinta había sido cancelada, algo que parece no es así.
